Alexey cancelled my tattoo the morning of, despite the work being booked in 1.5 months in advance. I had checked in 2-3 times via text, including the week of the appointment, to see if it was still happening.
There was little to no explanation of why he had cancelled. When I pressed, he said it was because he couldn’t get the tattoo to work on the area I had selected, despite saying that it was fine during our consultation appointment AND having 1.5 months to clarify that it wouldn’t be possible. I believe the WhatsApp was being handled by another member of staff (reception) as well, and both of them failed to respond to me until the morning of.
*The issue is not that he cancelled because the tattoo style didn’t fit his style. I understand and respect that. It was the way in which the cancellation was conveyed, that was certainly unprofessional.
He returned my deposit at least, but the whole situation has left such a bad taste in my mouth. I’ve been a tattoo customer at various places over the last decade and this is the first time this has ever happened to me - incredibly unprofessional service. I would not recommend going back even if you’re having an appointment with another artist there.

Alexey is a talented artist who knows his craft. You can see that he dedicated himself to drawing for many years. Very happy with the result!
