Bahjat Saleh (owner / operator) and Coiffeur Saleh are the absolute best. My son and I found Coiffeur Saleh Central while touring Zurich ETH one evening and popped in for a haircut. Although the shop was closing, Bahjat welcomed us and was in no hurry to give my son - in his own words - the best haircut of his life. I agreed.
Although we live near New York City, we are in Switzerland once every month or two. Each time, we visit Coiffeur Saleh Central for a haircut with Bahjat. When the weather is pleasant, we make the 3-minute walk from the train station to the shop, but when it's not, Bahjat meets us at the Coiffeur Saleh location within the train station (Zurich HB). How amazing is that?
I - unfortunately - no longer have hair (ha!), so I simply "cut" my own with a set of clippers. However, I enjoy a visit to the shop just as much as my son since Bahjat offers the best coffee and conversation in Switzerland. I sip a cup while Bahjat and I chat about our lives over the past month.
The shops are crystal clean, beautifully designed, and the professionals are all exceptionally polite and welcoming and, collectively, speak more than a dozen languages.
And the price? Roughly half of what I was told by a local we would pay for a haircut. Coiffeur Saleh is truly consumer-friendly, with discounted prices for children.
My son is already looking forward to his next haircut in April, and I'm looking forward to my coffee and chat with Bahjat!

I go here since years for hair dressing. Last 2 times Andrea cut my hair. He does an excellent job! Can really recommend him.

Jacob who did cut my hair today, was not only great in cutting my hair, he's also a friendly person and could give you an advice for your haircut style. THE BEST by far for me here in Zurich. Will definitely come back for his magic hands.
