Foot massage was terrible, more like someone just stroking your foot, no massage at all. Pedicure wasn’t all that good either although better than the foot massage. Person attending to me cane across aa disinterested and sleepy.

I get a regular pedicure at Schminkbar and really like it. Some other treatments I had range between very good and average depending on who you get. I do also wonder why there is a price difference for men and women getting the same treatment. For example oriental pedicure which doesn't include nail polish is 10 chf cheaper for men.

Best Spa in town known for its excellence! I have come to Schminkbar for many years and truly appreciate this place for the following reasons: 1) very 'personal': from a customers perspective a visit here is like 'going to the baker' was a few years back - you get treated like a well known guest with lots of attention to detail. They want to make sure you feel good (and reach that goal instantly when I walk into the shop) 2) professionals: there is no place you can get a better quality of mani & pedi. Specifically if you also consider the service: beautiful atmosphere, very friendly people that work there who all speak german and some very good english (seems like they have fun doing what they are doing!) 3) Relaxing: Schminkbar is much more than get the job done of a manicure - it goes deeper;) eg its pure relaxation for me
Have fun! and make sure you try the homemade tea - its delizioso!
