Really a shame. I have been going here for years and been to many competent stylists which know blonde hair, but recently a large chunk of the salon quit out of nowhere. Spaze clearly panic hired whoever they could to fill the spaces and now you are paying luxury prices for very undereducated hairstylists (when it comes to hair color). I suggest to only go here if your precious stylists still work there. The worst part is, that you pay by the minute and of-course the less experienced someone is the longer they take. So I ended up pay 200 chf (no cut & dry) for two large blocks of yellow stripes in the front of my hair. The color did not match the rest of my hair AT ALL and the hairstylist saw my disappointment. I didn't want to embarrass her, but I did say that this was not what I went there for. She then gave me purple shampoo and asked me to try to remove the yellow at home myself. Basically I had bright yellow and white hair in the front of my head and natural blonde (from my previous color) in the back. I met my friends for lunch a week later and they asked me if I had bleached my own hair at home. They were shocked when they heard that I was told that I would not get a correction and paid a lot of money for this in a luxury salon. During checkout I paid but expressed my concerns and said that I don't think that it was proper to charge me this much for something which clearly needs a large correction. I also said that I paid nearly as much for this bad hair (only two stripes in the front) as what I was previously paying (at the same salon) for a half head of baby highlights. They just looked at me and said "this is ZH and that's how much it costs by the minute." I was in shock and did not want to embarass everyone by escalating this. It was already embarrassing enough for myself and this new stylist who clearly new she did something wrong but wanted me to leave before she would get in trouble. Shame, but I'm never going back and don't suggest new customers to try this salon without knowing who their stylist is first.

Very pleasant, if I don't have to i'll probably never change hairdresser again

Got a haircut at Spaze with Marisa and she was amazing! She gave me exactly the haircut I had hoped for, much more talented than a lot of hairstylists I’ve tried before. I was late by 15 mins unfortunately and they were very nice about it, highly recommend!

Alina Moretta did my hair!!
She did amazing, i showed her some pictures of what i wanted and she really made my hair look exactly like i pictured it. On top of that she offerd me champagne which is always a BIG plus(and shes very nice and funny);) it was overall a very pleasant experience to get my hair done by her! Would recommend 10/10

Thank you to Damian and Clarissa for trying to fix the color. I appreciate that you addressed my complaint and gave me a cut and color for free. Unfortunately the color is still not right for me, but I will give it one last try before I give up. Please consider getting the Kevin Murphy line for your hair color, it is an amazing product for hair that has too much copper tones.
