During the cleaning work there was a short circuit in the hood above the stove, so that there was no more electricity when the apartment was handed over. When asked whether something had happened during the cleaning work that could be responsible for the power failure, this was denied and I was told that there was no power from the start. After lengthy and stressful negotiations, however, this turned out to be a lie, which caused me a lot of unnecessary effort and trouble. At some point I was offered to come by with a colleague who was an electrician. However, then I would have to pay extra for both his time and that of the electrician. I refused, of course, as I hadn't caused the damage. The electrician then seriously wanted to convince me that the fume cupboard just happened to give up on the morning of the cleaning work!
The behavior of the cleaning team leaves an extremely unprofessional impression. First I was lied to, then people tried to cover up, did not stand by their mistakes, constantly shifted responsibility on to others and finally tried to intimidate me. The management of the company did not react to the description of the events and charged the full price. This behavior is extremely regrettable, because the matter would actually have been a triviality, a trifle - had one reported truthfully from the beginning and acted responsibly. It reduces the performance of the plastering work, which has been carried out completely satisfactorily.
